Super Chunk

I’m not at all happy about this.  I voted for Edwards in the 2004 Democratic caucus, and I still believe that he is an issues guy with some really good ideas.  A radio news commentator mentioned yesterday that Edwards wasn’t getting anywhere because he insisted on sticking to issues questions, wouldn’t participate in media games, and thus got himself out of the good graces of the media who are basically anointing the next President.

So yeah, there are 24 states set to have primaries or caucuses on Super Tuesday, and a statistically significant chunk of the candidates are dropping out before half the U.S. voting population gets to cast a ballot.  And you’re going to leave me a choice of Hillary Clinton (who is not the right woman to be the first female President, IMO) and Barack Obama?  Frankly, at this moment I’m leaning toward McCain, but only because I can’t opt out in good conscience.  This electoral system is crap.  There, I said it.
