Super Chunk

So I was working on stuff for school on Wednesday morning and had to abandon my project to fix lunch for the kids.  When I got back to the ‘puter, nine or so hours later, I got a lot of beeping and an error message which Dan took to mean that the PC wasn’t talking to the monitor.  Yesterday Dan put in quite a bit of T&E to get me all set up on the laptop (which I guess is pretty much mine now) so I can do the things I need to do.

It’s a good thing that I have someone in the house who understands these things, because I was near tears more than once during the whole episode (I just want the computer to WORK.  It’s not a lot to ask, really.), and there weren’t even any documents in jeopardy.
