- My sewing machine was broken, but is now mysteriously fixed. (I did take it to the repair shop, where the guy tinkered with it while I tried to keep Adam and Becky from running amok - so I didn’t get to see what he was doing.)
- Having had the URGENT need to get the sewing machine fixed, I have left it in my trunk for two days. I need to take it (and the stroller) out so I can put a bike in there to take for repairs. It’s a way-beyond-decent bike, but Adam is bent on killing it. (I mean that in the best possible way. It’s what a seven-year-old boy is supposed to do.)
- Becky is learning to ride without training wheels now. She does not do well with things that don’t come easy, and today she said, “Mom, I feel like you’re TORTURING me!” Really, kid? Really?
- If you make rock candy at home, know that it doesn’t take all that long. Turns out two days is enough time for “rock” minus the “candy” part. Pretty, though.
- The very next Twins game with four seats available is July 19. The next one with four assigned (not GA/SRO) seats is September 1. For real. And for $100+ altogether, either way.
- Haven’t forgotten my promise of sartorial show & tell - pics of B’s new skirts will be forthcoming. Shortly after I take the sewing machine out of the car and finish ‘em.
- I am getting fairly adept at typing with one hand, while I feed a baby with the other.
That is all.
